Canada Summer Jobs is an initiative of the Youth Employment Strategy, which is the Government of Canada’s commitment to help young people between the ages of 15 and 30, particularly those facing barriers to employment, get the information and gain the skills, work experience and abilities they need to transition successfully into the labour market.
Positions Summary
Reporting to the respective Portfolio Directors, the Community Organizer, Fundraising Organizer, and Marketing Coordinator to provide a variety of advocacy, fundraising, and marketing support. Successful applicants must be energetic, detail-oriented, and creative individuals who enjoys working within an entrepreneurial environment that is vision-based, outcomes-driven, and community-oriented. The ideal candidates will have the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations and the ability to manage competing priorities while ensuring tact and discretion on confidential matters.
